About Inuneko
A breed match-book whose every rating was filled in twice, blind, and whose disagreements were dropped rather than averaged.
Where the register comes from
Thirty-two breeds, nine household ratings each – size, energy, coat care, shedding,
barking, time alone, children, first-dog fit, space. Two independent authors filled the same
fixed table without seeing each other; of 288 cells, 275 agreed outright, nine sat one step
apart and kept the milder claim, and four genuinely split. The splits were dropped, not
settled: the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cocker Spaniel sit outside the matcher entirely,
because references genuinely disagree about their size class, and their pages say so.
What a shortlist is – and is not
The matcher scores your answers against breed-level conventions and shows its working:
the fit percentage, what matched, what differs. It is a shortlist to research and meet,
never a verdict. Individual dogs outrank their breed sheet every time, and a rescue’s
temperament assessment outranks both.
What playing costs you
Nothing: no account, no tracking, no leads sold to breeders. The matcher runs entirely
in your browser and your answers never leave the page.
